Kim, I was fortunate to hunt this past weekend at your resort. Pam who is better known by your staff as Pamela is my cousin. Her husband Jr. is the one who invited me on the trip. He told me it was going to be one of the best hunting experiences I have ever had. I have to say I had my doubts. All I can say is WOW!! The hunt exceeded all of my expectations. I was really amazed at how the whole Ranch just seemed to cater to us. When rain seemed like it could possibly ruin our hunt. The whole staff put their heads together to give us a solid one day hunt vice the two day hunt we had originally planned. It was great!! Phil who was our guide on the morning hunt was great. In the beginning he said Dale they sure seem to like to pick on you don’t they. By the time we took our pictures he had joined right in. He said if you made fun of Dale Smile. Don’t know why I smiled but I did. LOL!! The European Hunt was a Blast. I had never shot a shotgun that much in one day before. I felt like a kid. I had already made up my mind I was going to do this again before we even got done shooting at the first station, and it only got better from there. The other good thing is the picking on Dale Quit and the Picking on Pam picked up. That made it even better. LOL. We were all yelling at each other and picking on each other the whole time. Anyone that was probably within a miles radius knew we were having a BLAST!! Thanks again for an Amazing time and don’t worry you will see me again shortly!! Dale

Hey Mr. Kim!  Just wanted to thank you and your staff again for a wonderful experience.  We hunted this past weekend.  Did a fast field hunt with Mr Phil Saturday morning to beat the rain.  Did European that afternoon.  Remember i was the only woman hunter, and blonde!  Some may remember my name as Pamela, not Pam!  My husband hunted last year. This was my first pheasant hunt. But I assure you it definitely won’t be my last.  My husband and I had so much fun!  We got to spend time together and with our friends and your wonderful staff.  You are blessed to have such special people working with you.  It is like yall are one big family.  And we felt like we have known you for years.  Your staff and dog handlers are so entertaining on the hunts!  Thank Ms Robin for helping take up for the lady on the European hunt.  I almost got the idea that some of your staff enjoy picking on blonde ladies!  I loved it!!!!  That’s what made it so fun!!!  Anyway, we are already planning for next year!!!!  You have a blessed life being able to do what you love everyday.  Keep up the good work!!!!  Thank you so much for a memory to treasure!  God bless!

I would like to thank you and your wonderful staff for yesterday’s hunt. We were worried all weekend if the weather was going to allow us to hunt or not. Although the conditions were not perfect, we had a wonderful hunt with lot’s of stories to talk about. Your entire staff made it a very pleasurable time for all of us. Also, if you still have our group photo on disk (the Dr Pepper Group), can you e-mail me the picture? Thanks again for a great hunt. Kim I forgot to tell you yesterday so I need to do this while it’s on my mind.  I have hunted with every guide I believe you have but yesterday was a new experience for me,  We hunted with Phil.  Now do not misunderstand me every guide you have gives their all and I have not hunted behind any bad dogs but Phil doesn’t have to take second seat to anyone he is everything you could ask for in a guide.  Worked his butt of trying to make sure we had a shot at every available pheasant in the field.  He had no problem back tracking if you though there was a pheasant we missed.  If one got up early we went after it.  Hard working, entertaining, energetic, personable, and made every effort to make sure we had a good hunt.  Please give all your guides our thanks and if any one of them got shorted or forgotten by the hunters please let me know so I can make it up to them, they busted their butts to yesterday one to remember for our family.

Still smiling, Steve Parnell

Kim,

Just wanted to take a second and let you know how much my party enjoyed our hunting experience at Show Me Birds…

The hospitality and food at the lodge made us feel like we drove 9 hours, stepped out of the coach, and walked into our own homes…Honestly… it was like being around people we have know for years.  The guides worked hard to make our hunting experience be the best it could be. They went above and beyond the call of duty to insure the success of the trip and I ask you to pass this on to the guys… I really appreciate the attention to detail and their attitude… The stories on past hunts and the ragging about missed shots kept us laughing in the field.               I’ve been on wing shoots in many parts of the US and I’ll tell you this…You have a top notch organization at Show Me Birds Hunting Resorts…and we will be back…!!!

 Thanks again,

Kim,

First of all, thank you again so much for a truly great weekend and especially for the “special” treatment you have extended to me, and I don’t just mean the “two-barrel” package!  You, Claudette, and all your staff are just fantastic.  There is simply not enough flattering words in the English language to do justice to the tremendous job you all do for your customers and “guests”!  You are a really easy sale for me!

Now, just to make sure you got my voice mail message today…do you have farms open.  We just got home and ready to come back!

 Thanks again for everything,

 Phil

Good afternoon,

I wanted to let you know how much we all enjoyed the Pheasant hunt on Sunday.  It was a day that we will remember and talk about for a long time.

Brian was great with the boys. His sense of humor and ease that he had with Brock and Grant was greatly appreciated.  He explained what we were going to do and why, he reenforced the safety issues of their guns and the nature hunting of pheasant.  His dogs were amazing to watch. Now Grant wants a Short Haired Pointer.

Needless to say, the boys are saving up their money to come back in October and they would like to have Brian as their guide.

Again, thank you for your hospitality, good food and an opportunity for me to make unforgettable memories with my boys.

Sincerely,

David

HELLO CLIENTS,

Thank you for considering hunting with us.  I want to give you my own personal assessment of the opportunity that ANTIC has presented to you.  For those of you who have never been to Show Me Birds, there are simply no words to adequately describe the experience you are about to have!  With no intention of being crude, I have to say it is the most fun you will ever have with your clothes on!

I have been a member of Show Me Birds Hunting Resort for seven years, and I just cannot get enough of it!  I am a bird-hunting purist and have been hunting game birds since I was ten years old.  I emphasize this fact for a specific reason.  Yes the pheasants you will be hunting are pen-raised birds; but NO they are not like any other pen-raised birds you may have experienced somewhere else.  I will give a personal guarantee…if you can tell the difference in how the Show Me Birds pheasants fly from “wild” birds, I will eat you hat!

The quality of the hunt is extremely important to me as a long-time hunter, and I can assure you that you will not be disappointed with the quality of the hunts at Show Me Birds.  Of course I am referring now to the field hunts, where the hunters will be following superb pointing dogs, and your shots will come after the birds flush from the natural cover on the farms.  You can expect to see dogs that are second to none, and you will have some heart stopping flushes by cackling roosters that will get your adrenalin pumping!

The European Shoot is something else altogether, and I never experienced anything like it until I went to Show Me Birds.  It is an indescribable wing-shooting event.  I have been on some unbelievable dove hunts in Texas and even in Mexico on several occasions where we literally shot hundreds of birds on each hunt.  Those were great, but still nothing compared to the European Shoot at Show Me Birds.

Just think of the best dove hunt you have ever experienced and then imagine what that would have been like if the birds would have been two and half pound pheasants instead of tiny doves!  In one afternoon…for three and a half hours…our group will have 500 pheasants flushed over our heads from a forest of trees.  You will be shooting at pheasants from 80 feet high to 80 yards high and traveling at top speed for any pheasant.

It is sport shooting at its best!  The fun and excitement is greater than any other game bird hunt you will ever have!  Plus you will have the added thrill of watching retrieving dogs that will WOW you…especially with some of the water retrieves from the three ponds around the European Shoot area.

I could go on and on, but I think you can get the picture.  Also you can go to www.showmebirds.com and watch actual made-for-TV movies of the shoots and field hunts.  I encourage you to do so again even if you already have because the videos have recently been updated.

Kind regards, Phil Wells

Kim, I just want to say that I had heard nothing but good things about your place before I came up with my group and I am now a believer as well.  You have excellent facilities, great dogs and guides, fantastic food and you show a deep desire to ensure we have fun.  I and one other in my group are coming back on February 1st with Ike and Billy, we are looking forward to it and can’t wait to get there.  Again, thank you for a first rate operation

Kim,

Thank you again for a wonderful hunt, as always it was wonderful to see the entire crew at Show Me Birds and I can’t say enough about the hospitality we receive while we’re there. Special thanks to Dan, Brian and Phil for putting us on the birds (well their dogs did anyway).

Can’t wait to see you guy’s again in October, so wind down the hunting season and get back to raising me some of those great birds.

 Thanks,

 Chadd Forgy
